Inky Paws Challenge #10

The Newton's Nook Inky Paws challenge is asking us to add texture like cork, metal, or wood. I decided to use all three. I added some cork to the glasses and bottle. I also used a metal look for the bottle and added a touch of metallic border with the mat. I have some wood texture on the basket. I wanted to create a scene with the cute basket from Baskets of Wishes so I put it on a picnic blanket in the grass with a pretty blue sky.  Thanks for a fun challenge!

Squeeze A Palooza 7

Fresh Squeezed StampsSqueeze a Palooza is back and this month the theme is spring. I was inspired by the idea of April showers and really liked the idea of a critter holding the umbrella. I used Weather Through with Hootie Who? to create this card. There are two chances to win so play along.

Pink Elephant and Card Patterns by Jo

Here's my card for this week's Card Patterns sketch. I changed the butterfly to a flower to use the hand cut flower that my daughter found a pattern for. I also used my favorite color combo, pink and purple, for the Pink Elephant challenge this week.

ICS #22 and Use It #16 by Jo

I combined Use It #16 and ICS #22 for this card. The card started with the circles from the sketch combined with the nature inspriation and evolved from there. I handcut these guys from Friendly Forest by Colobok.

Card Combo by Jo

This week we only had about two hours to craft and since I usually take awhile to make even one card I knew I had to combine challenges if I wanted to get more than one done. So I did three challenges on one card. The Use It challenge was to use pink, scallops, and a tag. This worked well with the Card Patterns sketch that included a scalloped component and the Pink Elephant challenge to use pink, brown, and white. This card is for a good friend who is having a baby girl soon and I hope she enjoys it.

ICS by Jo

This is my card for the ICS Sketch this week. When I saw the circles on this sketch I knew that the funky circle trim I picked up on clearance would work perfect.

Stamp Something by Jo

Here's my card for the Stamp Something sketch from this week. I use a sentiment from Studio G and the flowers are from Scrappy Cat.

Use It Challenge by Jo

Here's my card for the Use it challenge this week. It was quite a bit of stuff to fit on one card but the challenge is part of the fun.

Pink Elephant's Inspirational Play Along by Jo

Pink Elephant started a new feature called Inspirational Play Along. Here's the card I made based on the plate used for inspiration. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the different elements as well as to cut the flowers out.
