Inky Paws Challenge #10

The Newton's Nook Inky Paws challenge is asking us to add texture like cork, metal, or wood. I decided to use all three. I added some cork to the glasses and bottle. I also used a metal look for the bottle and added a touch of metallic border with the mat. I have some wood texture on the basket. I wanted to create a scene with the cute basket from Baskets of Wishes so I put it on a picnic blanket in the grass with a pretty blue sky.  Thanks for a fun challenge!

Squeeze A Palooza 7

Fresh Squeezed StampsSqueeze a Palooza is back and this month the theme is spring. I was inspired by the idea of April showers and really liked the idea of a critter holding the umbrella. I used Weather Through with Hootie Who? to create this card. There are two chances to win so play along.

A Valentine

Here's a valentine I made for my daughter with the Pink Elephant valentine's challenge and for the Easy Craft Projects Challenge to use a love theme.. This is also for the Paper Sundaes challenge. At Paper Sundaes who could choose your toppings I used pink, distressing, and a flower. The papers are from GCD Studios and the elephant sticker is from the Target $ spot.

Some cards

My first card is for the Card Patterns sketch. I was able to use some coordinating Heidi Grace papers I got on clearance at Joanns awhile ago. It was difficult to get everything even, but I think the imperfections are what make a homemade card more treasured.

My second card is for the color challenge at the Play Date Cafe. The colors are purple, lilac, and lime green. This worked out perfectly because my niece whose birthday is tomorrow loves these colors!

Thanks for stopping by!

2S4Y

Here's a card I made with the packaging from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl line. When I saw the paper insert in the front I was convinced I could make a card with it and this card proves that. I followed the sketch at 2S4Y this week.

A Card for Many Challenges

It's been awhile since I posted my crafty creations but this card was made with a few specific challenges in mind. I used Sketch Girl 11 for the layout. I have hearts for the Daring Cardmakers challenge. This works for Flutter By because it has an angel on a love card. This card is for one I love which is the Pile It On challenge and the ABC challenge fits because the border flowers are a recent purchase at the LSS. Enjoy your weekend of love!

Pink Elephant and Card Patterns by Jo

Here's my card for this week's Card Patterns sketch. I changed the butterfly to a flower to use the hand cut flower that my daughter found a pattern for. I also used my favorite color combo, pink and purple, for the Pink Elephant challenge this week.

ICS #22 and Use It #16 by Rob

This card is for the Use It #16 and ICS #22. I used the new paper that my cousin got me. I think its more boyish which is just what I need. I don't always like all the girly paper everyone else uses on Sunday when we do challenges.

ICS #22 and Use It #16 by Jac

For this card I use ICS #22 and Use It #16. One of the Use It requirements was to use our fave embellihsment. My fave embellishment is bling so I used plenty on this card. Also my sister will get this card since its supposed to go to someone special.
